Camcorders, the All-in-One Tool

If there's one gadget that you would want to bring especially during a trip, it's the camcorder. After all, capturing a very important moment with your family or friends is priceless. But these days, video capture is not the only purpose of a camcorder. Just like digital cameras, you can also take photographs in high resolution-a feat that was once thought impossible. And things just get better. Most camcorder models today are more compact, making it easier to carry. In fact, they are so small these days that you can mistake one for a digicam. And the best part is that despite its portability, there are a number of added features that users can utilize. And did we mention that most camcorders today are of high definition (or HD) format? You can view vivid videos even if you are watching them on a 42-inch plasma TV. Since this is the digital age, there's no need for DV tapes for recording. Some camcorders today can record a video directly onto a disc. Video transfers are a thing of the past. Today all you have to do is record it and then watch it right away on your DVD player. Of course, you can always edit the videos that you have recorded for a more wonderful viewing experience.

Whether you are on a business trip or having a vacation with the whole family, a camcorder is probably the single tool you will need to make sure that the memories last - The Camcorder.

With its 1920 x 1080 resolution, the HD panel on Panasonic plasmas displays beautiful images without having to perform pixel conversion for the 1080p video signals processed by the video circuitry. Because super-high resolution is best appreciated on a large screen, Panasonic offers the 1080p HD panel in 50 inch and larger models. These dazzling images can be further enjoyed with the stunning detail and beauty of a Panasonic Blu-ray Disc player.Movie images are some of the most difficult for TV displays to reproduce. By working closely with movie studios for many years and applying research by the Panasonic Hollywood Lab, Studio Reference Mode on Panasonic plasma TVs enables the replication of colors that was originally intended by the director - exactly the way they are seen on reference monitors in professional film editing rooms.Pro-Setting Mode offers the precise, highly detailed adjustment of image quality to suit personal preferences. Just the touch of a button on the remote executes setting adjustments such as tint, brightness, contour emphasis, gamma compensation and black expansion, which would otherwise require the use of special equipment to accomplish.EZ Sync HDAVI Control lets you operate all of your home theater components by pressing a single button on your TV's remote control.GalleryPlayer allows you to enjoy the world's finest high definition art and photography on your Panasonic HD plasma TV. Customer Review: Maybe and Mybe Not
When installed and connected to a DirecTV Receiver (HR-20 700 HD-DVR): The top showed a jagged white line when set to the "Aspect" called "Full" - The ONLY ASPECT choice to look at the picture witout distortion. Changed from HDMI to Component with no results. Finally changed the DirecTV receiver with the identical HR-20 from another room. It worked -- FOR A WHILE, Then the white staggared white line at the toP re-appeared. The next morning,TODAY, I turned THE TV on and the jagged white line is gone - so far. It has worked for 8 hours without the white line at the top. I don't know what to make of this but I have a 30 days reurn policy from Ultimate Electronics in Denver. They have been cooperativE - so far. Anyone have any comments?
Customer Review: Man, what a set !!
I've had the 58" set up and running for a couple of weeks and could not be any happier. All the good things you've read about it are true. It's big, it's heavy, and it is the best plasma on the market. I had a hard choice between this plasma TV and the XBR5 Sony LCD. Either would have been great. I'm glad I went with the larger plasma, no regrets. I watch a lot of sports and movies, and this one is the best. One of the main reasons I choose this Panasonic over other TV's, is a feature that the manufacturers don't also talk about, but I feel is extremely important. That is the 'finish' on the TV's screen, gloss or matte. The gloss finish on most plasmas is real bad, and you can be distracted by objects relected on the screen. The matte finish on most LCD's is great. This Panasonic is somewhere in the middle, and very acceptable.I understand that the 2008 model of their 58" plasma is even more matte. I would not have waited any longer when I bought this TH-58PZ50U model, it is fantastic. Buy one or two!
