With over 900 lines of moving picture, self-illuminating plasma displays eliminate afterimages in fast-action scenes. So whether you're watching a sporting event or an action-packed movie, you'll always get the most impressive viewing experience possible. |
1,000,000:1 ContrastThe Panasonic's Real Black system (a pre-discharge suppression system) and improved panel production processes combine to reproduce outstanding blacks with superb contrast. Each image is richly expressive, from bright scense, like scorching desert landscapes, to dark cave scenes. More ColorsViera HDTVs support the xvYCC color profile (Extended YCC Colorimetry for Video Applications), or "x.v. color" for short. Standard RGB color space allows the display of a portion of the colors that are viewable to the human eye. The next generation "xvYCC" color space actually offers an available range of colors that exceeds what human eyes can recognize.
|
Deep ColorWhere x.v. color expands the available range of colors your HDTV can display, Deep Color increases the number of colors your HDTV can display within that range, for smoother transitions from color to color.

Viera Link means easy connectivity via HDMI cables. Finally, consumers can easily operate their Blu-Ray Disc players, DVD recorders and home theater systems with a single remote control device. |
Long LifePanasonic plasma panels are rated to last 100,000 hours, which is about 30 years of regular or 11 years of non-stop usage before the brightness of the display is halved. |
Get Full HD with Blu-Ray Disc PlayersA Panasonic 1080p plasma television is able to render 1920x1080 pixels, but standard DVDs have a resolution of just 720x480. Blu-ray discs output true 1080p High-Definition resolution and have a storage capacity ten times greater than standard DVDs, so no pixel gos to waste. |

Customer Review: Panasonic Viera HDTV
I am extremely please with this product and how quickly it was delivered. I finally got it hooked up and enjoy watching it and am sure it will be terrific! Thank you so much.
Customer Review: All around excellent
I did research before buying and could not be happier. This TV has great picture quality and was a great value. I was worried about the shipping and possible damage. They called to arrange the delivery and there was no problem. The box was in pristine condition. I struggled deciding between a 42-inch 1080p and 50-inch 720p. In the end, I decided that size matters more. I believe I made the right choice. I run Direct TV HD in on a HDMI input and it looks fantastic. The only possible con is that it only has one rear RCA video input. I wish it had one more. Not really a con, just be aware of what inputs you will need.
LCD TVs provide you with very clear pictures. Crystal clear if we may say. It also has high resolution. Its design is glossy and stylish. The entire sleek and trendy look of the LCD TV will be destroyed if you will put in a substandard TV stand. Stands for LCD TVs come in various shapes and sizes. They may be made out of materials like wood, metal or fiberglass. It may also come in various finishes such as lacquers or wood enamel.
The first thing to bear in mind when buying a stand for your LCD TV is to know whether it will be able to support the weight of your television. Most television manuals indicate the weight capacities. Do not be carried away by the size of the stand. Even though a stand may look big, it does not follow that it can bear the weight. It depends on the material from which your stand is made of.
The next thing to consider is the space. If you have a large room, you might opt for a stand with a swivel. In this way, you can turn the television in any direction so that it can be seen from any angle in the room. Take note of the distance of the stand from the wall if you plan on getting a stand with swivel because it might end up hitting the wall instead. Stands that have wheels and casters are also available which allows you to transfer your LCD TV from one room to another.
Choose a design of the stand which will go accordingly to the decoration of the room. Stands made of wood are best suited for those room with traditional. For contemporary designs, metal and fiberglass will be a better match.
LCD TV stands may cost from a hundred to a thousand dollars depending on its design. You may also want to contact a carpenter to have a stand specifically made to suit your taste.
